Here's your chance to talk directly with the Beeb! Following requests by SWEDBAG, the BBC has agreed that their Information Bus will now revisit Weymouth & most towns in West Dorset from Friday, 31st August to Monday 3rd September, 2007 inclusive. Venue and dates are as follows:
This tour is intended to give residents a further opportunity to talk directly with BBC staff about any concerns or queries they have regarding Television or Radio. The staff manning the bus will be able to cover all topics including reception issues i.e., TV, FM radio, DAB and, of course, implications regarding the impending switchover to digital Television. A representative from Digital UK (the body responsible for the switchover to Digital Television in 2009), will also be there to answer queries directly. In addition, the BBC should be able to advise on progress being made towards their aim of providing Dorset with local news and events coverage on both Local Radio and on Television as demanded by 95% of respondents to the SWEDBAG survey. This is an opportunity for residents to ask questions, and to discuss any concerns or queries they may have! Dont miss this rare chance to have your say! |
